Metis Partners are business analysts and specialists in the assessment and exploitation of intellectual property and intangible assets. We have analysed corporate business models, IP exploitation structures and have researched and understand how great companies operate. Combined with our own research on corporate business models, we know what to look for and what to avoid in developing a successful business model which maximises the exploitation of IP. We know this from working with some great companies, big and small, allowing us to develop our own benchmark against which we can analyse how a company is performing in terms of IP exploitation.

The strategic intellectual property advice provided by Metis Partners assists clients to make money out of these often undervalued assets. IP exploitation requires a good understanding of commercial business issues and recognition of the strategy and tactics required to negotiate profitable deals.

We fill an obvious gap between patent agents and IP lawyers and have been working with them to help their clients exploit IP through various business transactions, including IP licensing, IP evaluation deals or outright sale.

In addition, our IP expertise is used by corporate recovery specialists involved in business turnaround and insolvency transactions.
